Guver Canyon

This extraordinary canyon is situated 20kilometers north of Antalya. If you are planning to visit the fantastic nature of this place you will also be able to talk a walk in the Duzlercami Park which is situated nearby. This nature phenomenon is about two kilometers long, 110-115 meters deep and on average 29 meters wide. Furthermore you should know that in close distance there’s no accommodation however you may use the Duzlercami Park to eat and rest. The canyon is well preserved and there are almost no buildings around, just few wooden logs. Keep in mind that variety of wild animals are habituating this place- wolves, eagles, turtle doves, deer, goats, foxes, frogs and many other type of birds and rodents. The local flora is mainly composed by shrubs, oaks and juniper. The place is popular tourist destination. In particular parts of the year rafting is possible however only for more experienced as the river water is very fast flowing and dangerous. The Guver Canyon is suitable to have a walk and relax in the nature; also some trekking possibilities are available in this region.
