One of the biggest resorts on Aegean Sea is Kusadasi. It’s relatively big town with 50 000 population and is situated 90km south of Izmir, which is one of the primary ports of Turkey. Kusadasi is very close to top tourist destinations and important historical monuments such as Ephesus, Didyma, Priene, Miletos that all are ideal for sightseers as they have preserved the ancient spirit. The town has its own marina which is one of the biggest in Minor Asia and offers really good custom, repair services and security. Another great historical beauty is an excellent example from the Ottoman and Turkish mosques- The Fortress Mosque built in 17th century. There are also various other mosques that attract many tourists- The Hanim Mosque, Haji Ibrahim Mosque, The Camiatik Mosque and others.

Of course Kusadasi won’t be so attractive to foreign visitors without its sea coast. It excites with powdery sand beaches with blue flag certificate and turquoise color water. The beaches guarantee endless fun as you can play beach volley, do water ski or diving or even go to boat trip or sailing. Kusadasi offers six main beaches. A popular one is the Pigeon Island Beach which is situated on an island and is ideal for good swimmers to reach it through water. On other side the Ladies Beach is the one with the best sand and most attraction. If you like to a calm atmosphere then the Yilanciburnu Beach is perfect for you.

The transport to Kusadasi shouldn’t be an issue as the town is 80km away from the Izmir airport. Moreover there are buses every 30 minutes to the town.

The nightlife in Kusadasi is one of the best in all Turkish resorts. Because of the many tourists that are coming every year local business have developed and now offers various pubs, clubs, discos, bars and restaurants. They are full whole summer and the parties are one of the greatest.

Last summer was awesome. I went first to Kusadasi with friends. We have amazing parties there. The only weakness was that the hotel was close to the beach but far away from the center. So if you are planning to go there for the discos then research well the location of your accommodation. Furthermore I can say that the food was fantastic as well as the swimming pool in the hotel. We actually have a small aqua park and it was so much fun.
